The same fight, different topic
Arguments that keep repeating no matter what the subject.
Work with trained couple psychotherapists at SafeMind Studio on Baner-Balewadi Road. Understand deeper patterns in your relationship, in person or online.

Some relationship problems are not really about the dishes, the phone or the in-laws. They come from older patterns: how each of you learned to handle closeness, conflict and being let down. Couple psychotherapy goes beneath the surface argument to understand these patterns together.
At SafeMind Studio in Balewadi, our psychologists offer couple psychotherapy for partners who want more than a quick fix. If you want shorter-term, practical support, see couples therapy or relationship counselling. If one of you would like to begin alone, read about psychology counselling or our therapist team.
Couple psychotherapy is a deeper, usually longer form of couples therapy. Instead of only working on skills for the present, it explores what sits beneath your reactions: early experiences, family patterns, how you attach to others and what each of you fears in the relationship.
Our psychologists integrate approaches such as psychodynamic and attachment-informed thinking, emotion-focused work and CBT, depending on what the two of you need.
You do not have to decide before you call. At the first session, the psychologist will help you choose a starting point. Read more about couples therapy.
In broad terms:
These themes often call for deeper work.
Arguments that keep repeating no matter what the subject.
Feeling alone while together.
Working through hurt after infidelity or secrecy.
Repeating dynamics from childhood in your relationship.
Pulling away or clinging when things get tense.
Marriage, parenthood, loss, career change.
One withdraws, the other pursues.
Old hurts that show up in current moments.
Even when things are fine on the surface.
It may be worth considering when:
Our article on why your inner child needs attention explores how earlier experiences shape adult relationships.

Early sessions focus on understanding you both. Over time, you can expect to:
Sessions are usually 60 minutes.
It can be. You set the pace. Your psychologist will not push you into anything you are not ready for, and individual sessions can be added if helpful.
Psychotherapy is gradual. Many couples meet weekly or fortnightly for several months, and some continue longer. Your psychologist will review the pace and goals with you regularly. There are no guaranteed timelines or outcomes.
Each session is shaped by what comes up.
A check-in on how things have been.
The psychologist helps you look at what happened and what each of you felt.
Linking present reactions to earlier patterns.
Practising different ways of speaking and listening.
Closing with what you take away.
A simple, supportive and structured process, explained to you at the start.
Share your story and hopes.
Map the cycle you are stuck in.
Explore underlying feelings and history.
Consolidate new ways of relating.
Attend at our Balewadi studio or online, whichever suits both of your schedules.

My journey towards SafeMind has been a process of self-development. As an empath, I have always connected strongly to others and their struggles, caring to help them navigate through their difficulties. Yet, before being able to reach out to others, I needed to learn to listen to myself, set my boundaries, understand and nurture my needs. Only then have I been able to dedicate myself fully to serving others. With over ten years of experience, I have logged hundreds of hours listening to people’s struggles while endeavouring to create a judgement-free space for people to express their deepest fears and darkest thoughts. Over these 10 years, I have worked with children, teens, and adults, addressing various complex issues, including relationship and parent-child problems, ADHD, depression, emotional difficulties, and a sense of feeling stuck in one’s life. Drawing from my vast experience and employing a number of therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, DBT, EFT, NLP, and knowledge of neuroplasticity, I offer my clients a truly integrated approach to solving their problems. I believe that being in therapy should be a comfortable, safe experience, where the client is an active participant in the process rather than being told what to do by the therapist. Today, I am humbled and truly grateful for the ability to help people all around the globe, both locally, at SafeMind in Balewadi-Baner, Pune, and internationally, via online therapy. My mission with SafeMind is to help you return to yourself, to your true self!
Experienced. Compassionate. Here for You.
