Communication breakdown
Conversations that turn into fights, or silence that grows.
Private couples therapy with qualified psychologists at SafeMind Studio on Baner-Balewadi Road. Rebuild communication, trust and connection, in person or online.

Most couples who walk into our Balewadi studio say the same thing: “We keep having the same argument.” Couples therapy gives the two of you a calm room, a neutral psychologist and time to understand what is really going on between you, instead of repeating it at home.
You do not need to be on the brink of separation. Some couples come before marriage, after a baby, after a move to Pune or after a rough patch. For a broader look at relationship support, see our relationship counselling page. If one of you would like to start alone, see psychology counselling. Learn more about the team on our about page.
Couples therapy brings both partners into the room with a psychologist. The therapist does not take sides or decide who is right. Their job is to slow the conversation down, help each of you be heard and point out patterns that are hard to see from inside the relationship.
Depending on your needs, our psychologists may draw on approaches such as emotion-focused work, CBT-based communication skills and psychodynamic insight into long-standing patterns.
No. Many couples come precisely because they care enough to work on things. Seeking help early usually gives you more to work with.
Couples therapy can help partners who:
These are common starting points. If yours is not listed, call us. Our relationship counselling page covers wider relationship concerns.
Conversations that turn into fights, or silence that grows.
Rebuilding after infidelity, secrecy or broken promises.
Feeling disconnected emotionally or physically.
Managing expectations from extended family, common in joint families.
Different habits, priorities and spending.
Long hours and tiredness leaving little for the relationship.
Adjusting after a baby when roles shift.
Talking through expectations before commitment.
Gaining clarity whether to continue or separate.
Waiting until things feel hopeless often makes the work harder. Consider therapy when:
It also helps to read why why therapy helps even when you think you are okay.

The first session is for understanding the two of you. Typically:
Sessions usually run 60 minutes. Sometimes the psychologist may also suggest individual time with each partner.
It is common. You can start with individual sessions to think things through, and invite your partner when the time feels right. See psychology counselling.
Over time, therapy can help you to:
A typical session follows this shape.
Each of you says how the week has been.
You decide what to work on, a recent argument or a deeper theme.
The psychologist helps you speak and listen in new ways.
You look at what happens between you, not who is to blame.
Small exercises to try before the next session.
A simple, supportive and structured process, explained to you at the start.
Share your story and goals.
Agree on focus and pace.
Build skills together.
Review progress and maintain gains.
Partners with different work schedules or one living away can attend online. In-person sessions are at our Balewadi studio.

My journey towards SafeMind has been a process of self-development. As an empath, I have always connected strongly to others and their struggles, caring to help them navigate through their difficulties. Yet, before being able to reach out to others, I needed to learn to listen to myself, set my boundaries, understand and nurture my needs. Only then have I been able to dedicate myself fully to serving others. With over ten years of experience, I have logged hundreds of hours listening to people’s struggles while endeavouring to create a judgement-free space for people to express their deepest fears and darkest thoughts. Over these 10 years, I have worked with children, teens, and adults, addressing various complex issues, including relationship and parent-child problems, ADHD, depression, emotional difficulties, and a sense of feeling stuck in one’s life. Drawing from my vast experience and employing a number of therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, DBT, EFT, NLP, and knowledge of neuroplasticity, I offer my clients a truly integrated approach to solving their problems. I believe that being in therapy should be a comfortable, safe experience, where the client is an active participant in the process rather than being told what to do by the therapist. Today, I am humbled and truly grateful for the ability to help people all around the globe, both locally, at SafeMind in Balewadi-Baner, Pune, and internationally, via online therapy. My mission with SafeMind is to help you return to yourself, to your true self!
Experienced. Compassionate. Here for You.
